The people most at risk are those that are potentially vulnerable to opportunistic pathogens like Legionella due to their state of health or as a result of long-term medical treatment. The populations most at risk are those suffering from chronic disease, the elderly, people on long-term corticosteroid treatment and the immunocompromised.
